KGBV Infrastructure Development (Chagalamarri)
Through CSR partnership with ONGC, HERDS is implementing the KGBV Infrastructure Development project in Chagalamarri, focusing on creating better learning environments for girls at Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya. We believe that proper infrastructure is fundamental to quality education, especially for girls from disadvantaged communities.

Library Setup & Learning Resources
Established a well-equipped library with books, reading materials, and learning resources to support the educational needs of girl students at KGBV. This provides students access to diverse knowledge and promotes reading habits.
Purified Water System & Classroom Furniture
Installed a purified water system to ensure safe drinking water for students. Provided essential classroom furniture including benches and desks to create a comfortable learning environment for girl students.
Office Equipment & Infrastructure
Supplied office equipment including computers, printers, chairs, and other necessary items to support the administrative functions and enhance the overall operational efficiency of KGBV.
Impact of the Programme
The infrastructure development project has transformed the learning environment at KGBV Chagalamarri, leading to improved learning conditions and academic performance for girl students. The project has enhanced the residential facilities, creating a safe and supportive environment for girls from disadvantaged backgrounds to pursue their education.
