During the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic, HERDS launched an emergency relief program to support vulnerable communities affected by lockdowns and economic disruption. Our comprehensive response addressed immediate needs while building resilience for the future.

Food Distribution Network
Establishing a comprehensive food distribution system to reach families affected by lockdowns. We distributed essential food kits containing rice, dal, oil, and other necessities to ensure no family went hungry during the crisis.
Medical Support and Awareness
Providing medical supplies, masks, sanitizers, and conducting awareness campaigns about COVID-19 prevention. We also facilitated COVID vaccination drives in collaboration with healthcare authorities. Our team worked with healthcare authorities to support isolation centers and quarantine facilities.
Digital Education Support
Supporting children's education during school closures by providing digital devices and internet connectivity for online learning. We also organized community learning centers following safety protocols.
